In Cameroon, as in many parts of the world, the heartbeat of public health lies within our communities.
Community mobilizers and community health workers (CHWs) are often the bridge between the health system and the community. They are trusted voices ensuring that health information and services reach even the most remote communities.
By engaging these frontline actors, not only during implementation but also in planning, training, and evaluation processes, we build a stronger and more resilient health system
We must continue to:
✅ Invest in training and motivation of community health workers
✅ Strengthen coordination and support from local health structures
✅ Recognize and value their essential contributions
